The choice of subject became easy when I realized I only have one female tattooed on my body. San is the female lead in Hayao Miyazaki’s animated film Princess Mononoke. I’ve always been a sucker for a woman who was raised by wolves, figuratively and in this case quite literally.
I’m very happy to have been able to be part of this exhibition with over 100+ other great artists. Opening reception is Dec. 7th in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Special thanks to Lindsay Nohl and the people at Light Grey for organizing this.
